Living in Europe, one likes to travel further afield. Having visited Australia, the next project is to travel in New Zealand when the opportunity arises.

Never been to Oz, but did tarvel to NZ a few years ago to do some hiking.
Unfortunately the weather was awful and the hiking conditions were pretty dangerous (lots of ice and snow) but despite that it was an amazing trip.
The whole South Island is stunning and the isolation is wonderful. I live in Holland, which is a very densely populated country, so to be able to wander for days without encountering people was a real treat.
And as for the Kiwis themselves, well they're just the best.
NZ rocks!
