Memories of a May Garden

This photo was one of the first taken
with a new
Sigma Apo Macro lens.

It took some time to manage the new controls
and have less blur in the final images.

However, for some reason, this was a very
successful photo with viewers and
I continue to wonder why.

The different colours, the blue & purple, the different things in focus, yet those which are out aren't too out of focus. It's just a good picture, really.

Thanks for taking time to explain.

All I experienced was the bewilderment of a series of new buttons and zoom features and the exasperation of having a gently May breeze moving everything in sight just as I tried to focus.

Perhaps another case of
"No Pain, No Gain"?
