Gulliver is the perennial little person.
His travels mirror the experience of
all who live in society and must
negotiate with forces larger than themselves.
As I write, the population of Irish people over Seventy
is gathering in the capital to address their concerns
about changes in the health service.
It will be interesting to see if they are heard...

Health care is one of the reasons we're glad to be over on this side of the pond - and a reason we're probably not going back any time soon.
Every country has its pluses and minuses, I expect.
The European health system is good overall.
